The avoidant heir to the Scottish Wolf Clan MacGregor, once Royals long fallen & turned infamous mobsters, Clive MacGregor, had spent years distancing himself from the darker side of his true nature.
Enjoying life as an artist with some moderate success, he spent his time with his chosen family & wolf pack in relative peace.
Clive had walked away from his family roots years ago, keen to distance himself from the beastly family name that many legends considered cursed.
Clive’s family secrets were not nearly as dark as the past and the man he once shared a bed with, one whom he was lucky to survive; Pierre Lector, of the elite aristocratic House of Lector, from the Loire Valley in France.
When Clive’s soul mate - Elliot Windsor- and the partner he shared with Pierre dies of what is labelled a tragic accident, Clive is confronted with not only the loss of half of his heart, but the full reality of who Pierre truly was; a monster with a trial of pain and loss befalling many of those who wrongly trusted him.
When Clive meets Claire Moraine, a human woman who lost her brother at the hands - fangs- of the Lectors, their search for answers and justice turns in to an all out bloody war between werewolves and vampires, legends, against empires.
Clive will face the choice of disowning his nature, or taking his rightful place as the head of the most ruthless royal clan Scotland has ever had.

Clive is loosely based off of author C.J. Fortin; embodying much of the authors personality & background with parts of Clive’s journey as a disabled wolf coincide with the real life disabilities of the author. Amongst other similarities.

Claire Moraine is far from your typical billion dollar heiress. Having worked in social justice for years after the death of her brother, the young change maker has found herself working for the president of France.
In many ways she owes the life she has to friends of her family so close they are much like her own blood; the Lectors, who gave her father the seed money to start a billion dollar medical lab and company that distributes medical care to a majority of Europe, including their various blood banks.
Claire knows better than most the cost of making a deal with the Lectors, and while she has played the doting daughter that Annelise Lector never had, Claire has her own secrets & lies.
While Claire has played friendly, she is by far one of the biggest threats to a dynasty built on blood & suffering. With her own personal vendetta set to ignite a war between humanity & pure evil.
Annelise Lector is the head of the Lector family, and controls many of their billion-dollar companies that span media, medical, political and hospitality entities.
The world knows her as the unofficial mother of Europe, with her current legacy for the Lectors being one of charity, social justice, scientific & medical advancements.
She is the eldest of the Lector siblings, and the more level headed between herself and her brother Pierre. Make no mistake, while Pierre Lector is known for being a menacing charmer, Annelise is just as much, if not more ruthless.
Her thirst for complete and total power, youth, and control has in fact made her an evil of a new nature.
There are vampires, and then there are demons. When your understanding of one collides with poetic insanity in a , in fact,,new form, the Lectors aren’t like any monster you’ve met before.
Pierre Lector, the younger sibling of Annelise Lector is known to the world as the once play boy turned stoic entrepreneur helping his sister rule over the business world their ancestors broke ground on.
Beloved by locals, and revered for his philanthropy; Pierre’s secrets & lies are those of total darkness.
Behind closed doors, Pierre was a monster of a different and irreconcilable nature with a lust not only for power total control; rather a thirst for excess and narcissistic sociopathic tendency to destroy any life he touched outside of the public eye.
Living in the shadow of his sister, Pierre’s prince syndrome leaves him eager to take over the dynasty; but, even with his nearly unmatched cruelty, Pierre fears only one thing; his sister.
Pierre was not only a businessman, but also had time as a headmaster at Norte Dame Private school in Paris, he’s even rumoured to have worked in espionage during his time as a military pilot and rumour has it he was even an intelligence asset.
Very few have ever challenged Pierre Lector on his quest for total dominance and control; aside from Clive MacGregor, one of the few to experience Pierre’s true nature and survive.
Simon Lector, the prodigal and only son of Annelise Lector & heir to the Lector Legacy has at the age of thirty-two made a name for himself running the hospitality sector of Lector enterprises. His resume includes ownership of various elite restaurants & bars around the world.
With a play boy exterior and soft heart Simon is a walking contradiction of the Lector name.
One of Claire’s closest friends since childhood, Simon will find himself left to choose sides between the blood that gave him the world, and his loyalty to his dear friend.
Will Simon listen to his heart, or follow the nature of his family tree?
It’s anyone’s guess as battle lines are drawn & alliances are tested.
Elliot Windsor was known by many as a fierce advocate for justice and equality, with a heart as kind as he was brilliant beyond his twenty-eight years of life.
The decades long partner of Pierre Lector was in many ways the entire opposite of Pierre, with a kind soul & empathy the world needed more of.
Elliot’s untimely death, labelled as a tragic accident left the communities he fought for and those who loved him covered in total darkness as the world lost a rainbow.
For Clive, Elliot’s loss hit deeply after having had to leave Elliot due to the violence he experienced in their poly relationship with Pierre. Clive had never truly let go of Elliot, who always held half of Clive’s heart with him in life, and now, in death.
Elliot’s death wasn’t just a loss of light; but, the catalyst to a war ignited between humanity, beasts & monsters.
What begins as those lost in grief coming together in search of answers and an intent to continue Elliot’s legacy turns in to a bloody battle between good and evil.
When love lost turns to blood lust, nobody is safe as the fiery blaze of war engulfs Rome.
