Thank you for taking time to come check out & support my artistic works.

My name is C. J. Fortin, and I am a Canadian artist, author & poet currently residing between Canada and various parts of Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, Spain & France.

From a young age I found myself excelling in artistic & creative areas including drawings & short stories. I found my imagination was a great way to escape growing up with severe idiopathic infantile scoliosis & a spinal syrinx that left me unable to do the things most kids do growing up.

At the age of eleven I had three spinal fusions to treat my scoliosis and was left in recovery for five years, during which time my imagination absolutely soared.

By age eighteen I wrote my first short story “Tears of Versailles” for a senior year high school project, soon thereafter expanding it to a full three hundred page novel upon travelling around Europe at the age of nineteen to immerse myself in inspiration, to write my stories where they were taking place.

What was meant to be a year off from university to travel, ended up with me relocating to London, England at 22 years old before I then moved to Chicago and enjoyed some years there.

Fast forward to 2026, and I have enjoyed living throughout various parts of Europe for nearly a decade.

At the age of twenty-seven I came to learn that I am neurodivergent / autistic & this helped me to fully channel my gifts after having struggled for years undiagnosed.

I have felt blessed to be able to defy the limitations put on me due to my disabilities, and to have work in modelling, marketing, writing & public speaking, having modelled for companies like Savage X Fenty by Rihanna, Mugler x HM, Effenberger Couture & more.

My approach to life has for years been to immerse myself in different experiences, meeting people from other cultures and seeing life for all of what it has to offer.

Over the years I have self taught myself all of my own skills as a writer , painter, digital designer, marketer and brand partnerships so that I could continuously challenge myself.

My various artistic endeavours are how I as a disabled artist support myself financially and I am very thankful to all who have supported my works over the years.

My hope is that my creations & stories resonate with you in some way, perhaps maybe even a big way; and that you are at the very least extremely entertained.
